Former Beatle Sir Paul McCartney and wife Nancy in near helicopter crash
</p>SIR Paul McCartney and his wife were just seconds from death when their helicopter came within two feet of crashing into trees. The chopper carrying the 70-year-old Former Beatle and Nancy, 52, was trying to land at night on a helipad at the coupleâ??s estate in Peasmarsh, East Sussex.
