Hollyoaks fans furious after Freddie Roscoe falls victim to soap killer
</p> By Nicola Agius fans of Liverpool-made soap Hollyoaks threatened to stop watching after a popular character was killed off. Viewers of last night’s episode of the show, which is approaching its 20th anniversary , were upset because Freddie Roscoe – played by actor Charlie Clapham – fell victim to Gloved Hand Killer, Lindsey Butterfield. So much so that they took to their Twitter accounts and revealed they may boycott the show altogether, according to the Mirror. “Well that’s me never watching #hollyoaks again. not that i’ve watched it in ages anyway but now there’s no chance,” wrote one fan. </p>  Kim Butterfield (Image: Lime Pictures) Another posted: “Feel like never watching #hollyoaks again.. why do you always kill off the good looking ones or write the out?! #hollyoaks.” Shortly afterwards, a different Twitter user wrote: Whyyy did u take our eye candy away #notfreddie #knewitwaslindsey #hollyoaks.” Fan McKensie Knight said: “If Freddie Roscoe is really gonna get killed I’m no ever watching Hollyoaks again” Talking about filming her final scenes with Charlie, actress Sophie Austin – who plays Lindsey – admitted that she was going to miss her pal. “I’m very sad to see the end of Lindsey and Freddie,” she said. “It was a very emotional scene.
