John Bishop makes Forbes? top ten of world?s highest paid comedians
</p> John Bishop has been named as one of the worldâ??s highest paid comedians. The Liverpool-born funnyman is reported to have taken home آ£5m over the last year, which put him in the Forbesâ?? top ten list. He is the only British comic to make the top ten, which was topped by Jerry Seinfield. Mr Seinfield is said to have earned آ£23m. John Bishopâ??s earnings were boosted by his annual Christmas special and telly series John Bishopâ??s Australia. Earlier this year the dad-of three defended his links to the city , after some critics questioned his Liverpool roots. </p>  Comedian John Bishop receiving an honorary degree from LJMU John was born in Liverpoolâ??s Mill Road maternity hospital and lived in Mill Road until his parents, who are from Huyton , moved to Winsford and later Runcorn .
