MasterChef?s Marcus Wareing on why he won?t be following in Gregg Wallace?s Strictly

</p> MasterChefâ??s Marcus Wareing may be the man in the know when it comes to foodie programmes.

But the Southport-born judge reveals he isnâ??t tempted to take to the Strictly dance floor like his co-judge Gregg Wallace.

The Michelin-starred chef is reserving his dance moves for weddings only, unlike Gregg who was put through his paces on Strictly Come Dancing last year.

Marcus says: â??Would I do Strictly?

â??What do you think? I will dance, but only at weddings.â?*

The food expert is back on our screens with MasterChef: The Professionals and has been talking about his co-stars and the appeal of the new series.

He says: â??I think itâ??s the changing dynamics, especially this year between me, Gregg and Monica [Galetti].

â??Last year, we delivered the show and it went down very well, but now weâ??ve got to know each other better as people and co-presenters, we have a huge amount of respect for one anotherâ??s opinion.â?*

Speaking about the new contestants, Marcus adds: â??What we have is a really strong collection of people.

“A lot of them are really interesting and theyâ??re all at different stages in their career, which is great.

â??Once their nerves start to calm and they settle into the kitchen, the chefs tend to come out of their shell.

“We want them to really enjoy the experience, rather than get bogged down after a bad day. Itâ??s a lot more than that.â?*
