Hi everyone I?ve been a long time Lurker (10+ years!) and have been out if tiring for 20+ years (had a couple of lessons as a kid!) but never really lost my love of horses... but recently had some lessons and have even more recently started helping out with this lovely mare after her owner got injured! I?ve been working on her strength and suppleness with lots of long and low lunging, raised poles, in hand work and carrot stretches and thought it was going well until I saw this line today?! My first thought was a Heaves line but she lives out, has no evidence of respiratory problems and is generally a happy healthy girl. So now I?m worried I?ve done something wrong and developed the wrong muscles? It looks like strong abdominals but she is pretty much just dressage and I can?t recall seeing any fancy dressage horses with that line?!
