Security is being tightened in Jerusalem after three attacks in which vehicles have been used to slam into pedestrians. Barriers have been erected at bus and tram stations after a member of Hamas drove a minivan into a crowd. One policeman died and a dozen people were hurt. The driver was shot dead. One commuter, Amy Sarousi, said: ?I*feel*safer*today*that*I*see*that*they*have*the* roadblocks.*I*hope*that*I*don?t*have*to*stand*behi nd*them*all*the*time*but*at*least*you*k**w*they*ar e*there. Passenger Sarah Haber said: ?I think*it?s*crazy*that*that?s*what*we*have*to*do,*t hat*we*have*to*start*putting*up*barriers*next*to*t rain*stations,*next*to*bus*stops.? Just hours after the minivan attack in Jerusalem, the Israeli military says a Palestinian motorist drove into a group of soldiers in the West Bank, injuring three. And in a previous car attack a woman and a baby were killed. The atmosphere in Jerusalem is tense with clashes also breaking out at the Al Aqsa mosque compound.
