Suffice it to say, **t many people thought 18-year-old Australian swimmer Kyle Chalmers had a big chance of taking home a gold medal.

Yet here we are. Chalmers spectacularly beat other favourites to win the 100m freestyle Wednesday night at the Rio Olympics.
