A waitress at a Waffle House in Raleigh, **rth Carolina, is being forced to return a very generous tip she received from a stranger at the behest of company policy, resulting in a public outcry against the breakfast chain. But Waffle House refused to run the transaction on the tip; its tipping policy states that unusually large tips must be dispensed either through check or cash. When a customer leaves a tip using a credit or debit card, he is **tified that he will be refunded the amount that was tipped. Waffle House did **t specify what constitutes a large tip. Read more...
