Project of the century — Site of Prophet’s birth to be preserved within expanded Hara

A library called "Makkah Library," which was built in 1951 in line with an order issued by King Abdulaziz, is situated right above the site. Authorities have made necessary changes in the architectural plan of the Haram expansion project so as to preserve the historic site, according to a report in Makkah daily.
