This weekend, Twitter bot @everyword (https://twitter.com/everyword) is set to transmit its final tweet — the supposedly last word in the English language. It is an event seven long years in the making.
Built by New York University professor Adam Parrish, the bot has tweeted a dictionary word every 30 minutes since **v. 30, 2007. Having reached the Zs on June 1 (https://twitter.com/everyword/status/473275311363477505), the account is breezing through the 26th letter at an alarming rate, causing an explosion of tongue-in cheek horror among the accounts 95,000 followers.

When @everyword (https://twitter.com/everyword) finishes tweeting every word, that will mark the beginning of the apocalypse, the end of the world as we k**w it.
