Gobi the dog reunited with the runner who met her during a marathon

Dion Leonard is a happy man again. The Australian athlete has been reunited with Gobi, the dog that he adopted after she accompanied him for part of a marathon in China.*
The two met each other during the Gobi March 4 Desert Race in June. Leonard told reporters (http://mashable.com/2016/08/05/runner-adopts-dog/#YACnI7Xr.iqP?utm_campaign=&utm_context=textlink&utm_medium=rss&utm_source=) that he first **ticed the dog running alongside him on the second day of the race and they bonded when he carried Gobi across a few rivers. By the end of the race, Leonard said that he was so taken by the dog that he decided to adopt her.
