Synaptive BrightMatter Drive Robotic Surgical Video Arm System

Synaptive Medical, a company out of Toronto, Canada, is releasing its new*BrightMatter Drive surgical robotic video system. The company’s robotic scope system is designed to be positioned at any angle imaginable, allowing surgeons to have a global view of the surgical field, while looking at a comfortably placed screen. Tools can be aligned with the robotic arm for intuitive operation on the patient.
The BrightMatter Drive can be operated using a touchscreen display while setting it up and using a specialized foot pedal during the procedure, and comes with a variety of lens*choices of different zooms and focal lengths, including an OverView Camera covering the entire surgical field.
