In a sensational case from Etah district, a robbery report was registered against four named and two unidentified people, including three policemen, on the orders of the court. That claim was made by a lawyer. The lawyer claims that the police stole cash and jewelery from his house under the pretext of false search. Advocate Amit Pachauri, resident of Mohalla Aruna Nagar of Kotwali Nagar area, said that he is a registered member of Etah Collectorate Bar Association. On September 3, he went to the Aligarh District Court for personal work. At that time, the lawyer’s father Shailendra Kumar and mother were present in the house. It is alleged that the policemen tried to forcefully enter the house without any prior information or valid documents. When the parents protested and asked the reason, Inspector Manendra Singh said that a criminal’s location has been found in the house, so the search is on. After this, the policemen entered the house and started searching. Rs 57,523 cash was taken out. The lawyer claims when no suspect was found, the police took the keys of the safe and took out Rs 57,523 in cash. A gold chain weighing two tolas, a gold ring weighing 10 grams and a gold bangle weighing about 2.25 tolas were also forcibly taken away. When the parents protested, the police misbehaved, broke valuables in the house and threatened them and left the place.
