Bogor – A tenement house converted into a place for pumping subsidized LPG gas in Cileungsi Kidul Village, Cileungsi District, Bogor Regency has been raided by the police again. A total of 456 gas cylinders and a number of mixing tools were confiscated. “That’s right, the activity was last night. The case being handled is the alleged misuse of 3 kilograms of subsidized LPG gas mixed into 12 kilograms of gas cylinders (non-subsidized),” Kompol Edison, Cileungsi police chief, said on confirmation, Sunday (21/12/2025). Edison said the raid was a follow-up to a public report on alleged gas smuggling in Cileungsi Kidul Village, Saturday night (20/12). On their visit, the police found the process of mixing LPG gas in progress in the rented house. Scroll TO CONTINUE CONTENT “From the results of the location check, officers found three vacant rental lots that are strongly suspected of being used as a location for the practice of pumping subsidized gas,” Edison said. “In the rental, mixing activities were still found, in the form of 3 kilogram LPG gas cylinders injected into 12 kilogram gas cylinders,” he added. During the raid, evidence was seized in the form of 71 12 kilogram LPG gas cylinders, 384 3 kilogram subsidized LPG gas cylinders, 101 gas syringes, 5 fridge freezer units, as well as 1 cooler or freezer unit and 2 weighing units. Currently, the police are still busy with investigations to arrest the culprits of the conspiracy. “When we went to the place, the perpetrator was no longer there, but we found the evidence and we secured it all at the police station. Currently, the perpetrators are still in the process of being investigated. We will continue to investigate to uncover and arrest the perpetrator,” says Edison.
