Yes yes homage to bla bla … all that effort for 1 shot 1 bullet, can't he just load up a few more instead… from the 1st movie, they tried to make it all look real.. fights, gun fu etc .. but this, for a mere 1 shot, just doesn't make sense…to me anywayz

Seeing this movie a 2nd time I REALLY admired this scene. It made me think JOHN WICK is a big JOHN WAYNE fan. He is a fan of Westerns… so instead of using all that extra time he had to run away… he decides to try out a revolver to channel his John Wayne spirit… gets that 1 SHOT in… and continues running.

I reaaaly dont se the point of this scene, all that only to shoot a single shoot, in the cinema that shoot was so GODAM loud and fucking awsome, imagine he using more shoots, i feel its a lost potensial

A nice homage to The Good, The Bad And The Ugly. Eli Wallach's Tuco assembling his gun. Just as John Wick does his in this scene.
