Pistachios take an incredible amount of water to grow unfortunately
Yes this is a pistachio farm. Usually there is 2 machines on each side of the tree. My guess is this is a very small tree farm. Usually there is a machine catcher… not people holding a tarp. Per acre these trees should produce anywhere between 1800-5500 lbs depending on age. Based on what I can see these look about 6th leaf trees (7 years old) and probably closer to the 1500-1800 lbs per acre.
