Jakarta – More and more officials in Cianjur Regency resigned from the position of head of the Regional Apparatus Organization (OPD). Now a total of six officials have resigned from their positions, the latest of which was the head of the Cianjur Regency Culture and Tourism Service (Disbudpar), Ayi Reza Addairobi. Ayi also previously resigned from the position of Head of the Personnel and Human Resources Development Agency (BKPSDM). Not long after, however, he was appointed as Plt. Head of Disbudpar before finally assuming office. SCROLL TO CONTINUE CONTENT However, after only a few months in office, Ayi decided to resign from his structural position as Head of Disbudpar, preferring to serve as a functional employee. Head of BKPSDM Cianjur Regency Kaos Koswara said Ayi Reza Addairobi resigned from his structural position and chose to serve in a functional role. “He therefore resigned from his structural position, but was immediately transferred to a functional position at the Investments and One Stop Service Service,” he said as reported by detikJabar, Sunday (21/12/2025). On the other hand, Ayi Reza Addairobi said he did not resign from the position of Head of Service, but only switched from a structural to a functional position. According to him, the proposal to switch to functional was submitted several months ago but was not approved until early December 2025. For information, previously five officials in Cianjur Regency resigned. The five people are the chief director of Perumda Tirta Mukti (BUMD), the chief director of Cimacan Regional Hospital, the chief director of Pagelaran Regional Hospital, the head of the health service, and the regional secretary of Cianjur Regency.
