Reminds me of my buddy who bought a brand new Jeep Wrangler a few years back in the middle of a snow storm. He drove off the lot excited as can be to put that piece in 4WD and sped off with the feeling he was on top of the world. Got 2 blocks and totaled it because he was going to fast and couldn’t stop in the snow.
You know all those idiots when you’re pulling up to a stop light and they pass like 6 in. in front of you and your 20 feet back from the light, crossing the double yellow line into your lane taking a left. This is one of those idiots.
Looks like a parking lot. She must have been going pretty fast to do that.

People talking about thick A pillars in new cars. Sure they are a little thicker but this person was also driving way too fast for this amount of damage. They took this pole all the way into the wheel well. And by the way they were turning to hit the sign they were turning sharp enough to turn into parking spaces not driving lanes. This person messed up way more than the A pillars could have.
Well, it did say stop, and they did stop, so….
I hate to say it but they probably weren’t used to a new car with super thick A-pillars that can obscure your view. You pretty much have to rock and roll in your seat to make sure your path is clear when turning left to see around those fat pillars.
Thank goodness it was just a stop sign and not a pedestrian.
Totalled.

Is that a Walmart? There’s a stop sign in front of the Walmart in Watson,La called Petey. Way too many people have hit Petey. Walmart put pool noodles all around him…. didn’t work. They roped buggies around him… didn’t work. He has his own FB page and a few people sold t shirts with different sayings about hitting Petey.

That stop sign was being very aggressive and backed into them at a high velocity.
good crash testing result IMO. It didn’t pass into the driver cockpit.
