Last Sunday, speeding and careless tractor operation in the police station area took the lives of two women in a single day. Two women died after being hit by a tractor in accidents at different places. Remove ads Just read the news While one person (man) was seriously injured. These continuous incidents have become a matter of concern among the people in the area. Gaya Paharpur Bhaya Kariyadpur Sunday evening on Salaiya Road. A woman who went to Chuda Kutane near Salaiya Arts High School was standing by the roadside waiting for her turn. Then a tractor traveling at high speed crushed him. Of which Gauri Devi (45), wife of Sahdev Chaudhary, resident of Hasra of Salaiya Kala Panchayat, died. The driver managed to escape on the spot while people nabbed the passenger and handed him over to the police. The incident took place on Sunday evening at eight o’clock. In the second incident on Sunday itself, a woman riding a bike died instantly after being hit by an uncontrolled tractor on the same road near Jagarnathpur Middle School of Police Station Area on Gaya Paharpur Bhaya Kariyadpur Road. While her husband was seriously injured. The deceased has been identified as Rajeshwari Devi (70), wife of Surendra Prasad, resident of Gurisarve. After the incident, the injured Surendra Singh was immediately sent to Gaya for treatment. According to eyewitnesses, the tractor was at high speed and the driver lost control. Due to which the bike coming from the front was hit hard. The collision was so severe that the woman died instantly. After the accident, the driver of the tractor overturned while trying to escape. Which went into a 20 foot well. There is anger among the local people due to two consecutive deaths due to tractor on the same road in one day. People say that tractors roam the roads without number plates and without permission. In such a situation, the villagers demanded that strict action should be taken against rioting tractors. So that such painful incidents can be prevented in the future. As soon as information about the incident was received, the police reached the spot and sent the body for postmortem. Manoj Kumar, head of the police station, said the investigation has been started to identify and arrest both the tractor driver and owner. In both the incidents, an FIR will be lodged after the application is received. The speed of the tractor will be controlled and action will be taken.
