Jakarta – The management of the Cikopo-Palimanan Toll Road (Astra Tol Cipali), West Java, recorded that as many as 31 thousand vehicles passed on this toll road on the 4th day of the 2025 Christmas celebration. This vehicle traffic flow was recorded until Sunday at 14.00 WIB. “This number is an accumulation of vehicles from two directions passing, with traffic conditions being smoothly monitored,” said Ardam Rafif Trisilo, Head of Sustainability Management and Corporate Communications, as reported by Antara, Sunday (21/12/2025). He said that traffic flow on the 4th day of Christmas tends to be skewed compared to the previous day, so no significant increase in vehicles was seen. Based on data, he said again, from 00.00 WIB to 14.00 WIB, about 18 thousand vehicles were recorded passing from Jakarta to Cirebon. SCROLL TO CONTINUE CONTENT According to him, the number of vehicles from that direction was about 25 percent lower than the traffic volume at the same time the previous day. “Overall vehicles moving in both directions through Cikopo have decreased by about 17 percent compared to the same period the previous day,” he also said. Ardam said the decrease in vehicle volume had an impact on the smooth flow of traffic along the Cipali toll road. He said traffic conditions are relatively controlled, providing convenience for road users passing through the Cirebon area and its surroundings. Apart from monitoring, it has strengthened party driving safety aspects during the Christmas 2025 and New Year 2026 periods. “Safety enhancement is carried out through the addition of road safety facilities in the form of safety rails,” he said again. He said the addition of safety rails will be implemented from November to December 2025 at 46 points located at kilometers 72 to kilometer 87. This step, he continued, was part of a commitment to increase protection for road users. “Road users are asked to ensure that the condition of the vehicle and the driver’s fitness are in top condition before travelling,” he added.
