Learning to drive in a parking lot seems pretty normal and typical. I am not really seeing the problem.

How old were you when your parents let you play GTA? Oh, around the time I learned to drive so… 11

Driving in a car park…
Is that even illegal? I’m assuming that that would be private property where traffic laws don’t apply.
I feel like it’s quite common where I am from for parents to take their children out to show them how to drive in parking lots. I learned how to drive when I was very young, before I was 11. I could back up a trailer by the time I was 13. In my state you can get your driving permit at 14 or be provisionally licensed at 12/13 if you are a farm kid and need to get to school.
Am I missing something? Why is this such a bad thing? Most of my friend’s parents did this same thing with them. It’s a controlled environment where the parent can be there to properly educate their child on how to drive.
Thank God that the kid didn’t play World of Warfare
I used to drive when I was like 9. I grew up in the country so I’d just drive to my pasture and fish by myself when I was like 12
Granddad let me steer the tractor down the highway when I was about that age. I had trouble keepin’ ‘er straight.
I see no issue here although would be better on rural private land.
I started learning how to drive at 9 years old.
F1 legend Senna was driving his family’s truck as soon as he could reach the pedal.
I have friends who started driving at 10 on their family’s property.
i wonder how long it took them to get 5 stars
I expect no less from Blackpool.
Geez I was driving home from church by then
I really hate parents who buy videogames for their children, when they’re too young. In the school I worked in, we had a boy who played, like, 5 hours of Far Cry (3?) A day. Since I knew the games, I asked his mother about it and she was like “well, I only learned what that game was about, after I bought it”. The boy was nine.
And i don’t say, video games are bad. But there is an appropriate time for everything. When your boy is 9 years old, he shouldn’t play games like Far Cry, or GTA for that matter. There are other games for his age
