My horse became really itchy before Xmas, on his body. Tried a few things to no avail then got the vet who said most likely mites of some description and gave me a lime dip thing and some deosect. Enough for 4 x applications. I have done one lot so far, used another to spray his rugs and stable etc. Need to leave it at least 2 weeks between applications. He seemed less itchy for a while although I?ve noticed he has started to itch again. Due his second application anyway so will do that but is this going to be an ongoing thing? How long till this is actually sorted?? Do they just keep coming back?!
