Southbound Deerfoot Trail closed due to multi-vehicle collision
 New Year?s Day saw Calgary police respond to multiple collisions across the city, with one shutting one down a section of Deerfoot Trail for a few hours. Police say between 5 a.m. and 4 p.m. Monday, they attended to six injury collisions, 41 damage-only collisions and 17 hit and runs.
