The Emiratis may **t have smashed any records at the Hamdan Sports Complex this week, but national team assistant coach Mohamed El Zanaty believes his swimmers are ready to impress at the Arab Cham*pionship and Gulf Championship this month. The 14-year-old Yousif Al Hosani and 17-year-old Yousif Omar were the only Emiratis to swim personal best times during the FINA Swim*ming World Cup in Dubai. Mohammed Al Ghaferi, Mubarak Al Besher, Mohammed Jasim, Ali Al Kaabi ? who recently returned from the Youth Olympics in China ? and Yaaqoub Al Saadi, along with head coach Sergey Burkov, have all flown to Casablanca, Morocco, where they will be competing in the Arab Cham*pionship from September 4-7.
