An abused dog left abandoned with its face and muzzle duct taped has been rescued, thanks to the collaborative effort of South Carolina's Darlington County Sheriff’s ****** and Animal Shelter.

"Sheriff Wayne Byrd says deputies received an a**nymous call about a dog walking around the 900 block of Rogers Road in Darlington on Monday,"*WBTW News 13*reported. "Deputies were able to catch the dog to remove the tape and took him to the Darlington County Animal Shelter for care and treatment."
