Boys will be bros in Richard Linklater's 'Everybody Wants Some!!'

A three-*day weekend becomes a **n*stop party for dudes on the verge of adulthood in Richard Linklater's comedy Everybody Wants Some!!.

Languid and episodic, this movie is a "spiritual successor" to Linklater's 1993 film Dazed & Confused. That sleeper hit was a snapshot of the final days of high school in 1976. This latest effort follows a few freshman baseball players through a long weekend before college begins in 1980

Everybody Wants Some!!, which borrows its name from a Van Halen song, could also be a direct follow-*up to Linklater's most recent film, Boyhood, which ended with the main character going off to college. Read more...
