Speaking to reporters in Kiev, Secretary of State John Kerry criticized Russian President Vladimir Putin for moving military forces into Ukraine, but specifically said the U.S. was **t seeking confrontation.
“President Obama and I want to make it clear to Russia and to everybody in the world that we are **t seeking confrontation,” he said, reminding Russia that there was a better way to ensure their interests in Ukraine.
Russian officials, Kerry suggested, should take their concerns to the United Nations instead of invading Ukraine.
Kerry is officially at step three in the DEBUG System for dealing with bullies.
In order to get Kerry to talk tougher he’ll need to be reminded of the carbon footprint of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
