If you can't seem to get a split playing ten pin bowling, why **t just split the ball itself?
That's what Australian stunt group How Ridiculous have done, but instead of just bludgeoning the thing, they've decided to launch the ball from a 45 metre (150 feet) high tower, dropping it on an axe below.
There is a quite a bit of a build-up, a la Mythbusters, but if you skip to about 1:40 in the video — that's where the magic happens. Prepare to be in the mood to drop things from great heights.*
