The system provides continuous oximetry and pulse rate monitoring, offering both live readings for immediate attention and charted historical data that can reveal important trends and patterns. Alarms can be programmed to go off when oxygen saturation falls below certain levels, while the*SatSeconds feature is meant to prevent safe but seemingly dangerous events from raising unnecessary alarms.
Additionally, this is the only commercially available SpO2 Bedside Monitor that can be used for Home Care and*for Sleep studies performed outside the clinic. The device is able to overcome patient motion and perfusion to accurately measure blood oxygenation under most reasonable conditions.
