There’s a gyroscope and accelerometer built into the device, helping it identify when the inhaler is being used. This information is passed to the matching smartphone app where the user can set an alarm schedule and check up on one’s adherence. The light on the device will flash when it’s time to take a breath off the inhaler and will go silent once that’s done.
