The Council of Ministers has approved the organic farming Law that aims at governing organic farming activities in the Kingdom and prevent any wrong practices in this field. According to the law, anyone wanting to practice organic farming shall obtain a certificate from the concerned agencies licensed by the Ministry of Agriculture. This was decided at the Cabinet meeting chaired by Crown Prince Salman Bin Abdulaziz, deputy premier and minister of defense, in Jeddah, late Monday. Minister of Culture and Information Abdulaziz Khoja said the Cabinet congratulated Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah, Crown Prince Salman, Deputy Crown Prince Muqrin Bin Abdulaziz, as well as the people of Saudi Arabia and the Arab and Islamic Nations on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan, asking Almighty Allah to help all those who observe fasting in this holy month.
