Derek Acorah gets artistic for Liverpool charity
</p>INSIDER senses a little psychic activity over at Clayton Square shopping centre. Liverpoolâ??s favourite medium Derek Acorah dropped in to Madelainartz Gallery on the first floor of the centre to open a new exhibition, Mad About Landscapes and Wildlife. The gallery raises awareness of the chronic pain syndrome fibromyalgia, and Derek is a supporter. So much so that he couldnâ??t resist buying one of the paintings for his own collection. Gallery director Madelaina Murthwaite explains: â??Derek is currently on tour and was able to fit me in when he was up this way! â??The painting he bought was a watercolour called Winter Waters by local artist Siro. â??Iâ??m also planning to paint Derek himself.
