The Hitman?s Bodyguard 2 Photo Reunites the Main Trio

 Ryan Reynolds has given us our first glimpse at The Hitmanâ??s Wifeâ??s Bodyguard, the upcoming sequel to the 2017 surprise hit, The Hitmanâ??s Bodyguard. The image, shared to the Deadpool starâ??s Instagram, Reunites original stars Reynolds (The Bodyguard), Samuel L. Jackson (The Hitman), and Salma Hayek (The Wife). Based on the blood covering Reynoldsâ?? face, everything goes completely fine over the course of the film!The first movie, directed by Patrick Hughes (The Expendables 3) from a script by Tom Oâ??Connor (Fire With Fire), saw Reynolds playing Michael Bryce, an elite private security officer. Bryce is tasked with protecting the life of infamous hitmanآ*Darius Kincaid (Jackson), who is set to testify against the brutal dictatorآ*Vladislav Dukhovich (Gary Oldman) in exchange for his wife Soniaâ??s (Hayek) release from prison. Much banter ensues. The Hitmanâ??s Bodyguard is, honestly, a so-so action-comedy elevated by absolutely top-notch banterinâ?? by its stars. And it certainly paid off for Millennium Films; The Hitmanâ??s Bodyguardآ*snagged $176 million worldwide on a $30 million budget, with $75 million of that total haul coming in domestically. Obviously, Reynolds, Jackson, and Hayek are reprising their roles for the sequel. The Main Trio will be joined by Morgan Freeman and Frank Grillo. According to Variety, the plot of The Hitmanâ??s Wifeâ??s Bodyguard will revolve around Grilloâ??s character, an â??Interpol agent who needs Reynolds, Jackson, and Hayekâ??s help to prevent a cyber attack in Europe.â?* Hughes will once again be in the directorâ??s chair, while the story comes courtesy of Hughes.
