With Marvel having recently announced a live-action series based on the New Warriors and the new Hellboy movie being released soon, there are bound to be fans that would want to cosplay as Hellboy and Squirrel Girl. But as any cosplayer will tell you, it’s not Always easy to get an outfit just right. In the case of these two characters, it’s their tails that could prove challenging for even the most seasoned cosplayer. Luckily, a company called The Tail Company has you covered.



Established back in 2006, The Tail Company specialises in selling hand-made tails. No, we’re not kidding.

The mechanical tails made by The Tail Company use animatronics and another digital wizardry to help bring your new appendage to life. Thanks to a digital app, cosplayers and furry enthusiasts are able to program their tails with various movements and also control it in real time using their mobile phones. It even includes a music mode which lets your Tail waggle in time with your favourite tune.



The Tail Company sells a large variety of tails, including animal tails, such as cats and dogs, superhero tails from characters such as Nightcrawler and Hellboy, and even a Tail from a Xenomorph.

Thanks to recent developments in heart rate monitoring, some of the newer tails can even react to your heart rate, wagging excitedly when your heart rate goes up.
