The International Telecommunications Union (ITU) has set a day, k**wn as ?Girls in ICT Day,? to motivate young ladies to study ICT. Alfa has joined the effort for a second year by gathering 25 girls from different schools to celebrate. To encourage female students to pursue careers in the telecommunications sector and provide guidance by teaching them more about it since it plays a large role in the eco**my. In fact, 9% of Leba**n?s GDP is contributed by the telecommunications sector.
