JEDDAH - Senior consulate officials and community leaders accorded a warm welcome to B.S. Mubarak, the new Indian consul general, at King Abdulaziz International Airport on Friday. Before moving to Palestine, Mubarak worked as deputy consul general and Haj consul in Jeddah for four years. He succeeds Faiz Ahmad Kidwai, who left the Kingdom on April 18 at the end of his tenure. Speaking to Saudi Gazette, Mubarak expressed his delight over the opportunity to come back to the Kingdom to serve the Indian community, especially Haj pilgrims.
