Wind and snow knocks out power to thousands across South Coast
 The storm which brought snow to Vancouver Island, the Sunshine Coast, the Fraser Valley and Metro Vancouver on Saturday knocked out power to 31,000 customers, B.C. Hydro says. The outages were reported late Saturday and crews were still working Sunday evening to restore power. As of 7 p.m. Sunday, nearly 6,000 customers remained without power.
