Everything You Need to Know About the 2018 Women's March
 The 2017 Women's March changed everything we knew about public protest in the modern era. Now, almost exactly a year after it all went down, women across the country (and around the world) are dusting off their pussy hats, handwriting their wittiest signs, and gearing up for round two. Not sure how to participate this year? Not to worry, we've got you covered. The majority of 2018 marches and gatherings will go down on Jan. 20-21, with the two biggest marches (Washington DC and NYC) taking place on Jan. 20 and the official kickoff event taking place in Las Vegas on Jan. 21. But if you aren't in one of these cities, not to fear: nearly 700 sister events are taking place all across the country, and the Women's March has a searchable database that makes it easy to find an event near you. And if you're looking to spread the word About an event, the Women's March Facebook page has all of the events listed out so you can join (and add your friends) in a snap. The New York City March is slated to take place from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and will start at 72nd and Central Park West and head south toward Times Square with a quick stop between 61st and 62nd on Central Park West, where the rally will kick off at 11:30 a.m. In DC, the March will start at 11 a.m. at the reflecting pool in front of the Lincoln Memorial. In Las Vegas, events will take place between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. at Sam Boyd Stadium, and a live stream link will be available here. There's a very important reason the founders of the March chose Las Vegas as the staging ground for the main event, Power to the Polls, this year. "It was very relevant for us to go to Washington, DC, last year to send a message we were all united," Women's March cofounder Linda Sarsour told CNN. "When 2018 came around, we had to be really strategic About what message we want to come out of this gathering. And in order for us to put forth a strong message that women are going to lead the victories in 2018 electorally, we had to go to a state that was relevant. We chose Nevada."
