Rat forces Alaska Airlines to cancel flight
 The discovery of a rodent forced Alaska Airlines to cancel a flight on January 3. The plane was headed from Oakland International Airport in California to Portland, Oregon. Most of the 110 passengers scheduled to take the flight were rebooked on a later one to Portland.
