Readers of the Interwebs may have been either elated or horrified to see over the weekend reports that the U.S. government had just "approved" a substance called P*******, or Powdered *******, for sale in liquor stores in little packets to be mixed with water at will. (What could possibly go wrong?)
But it turns out that a P******* label, **t a patent, was approved earlier this month by the ******* and ******* Tax and Trade Bureau of the U.S. Treasure Department. And even that turned out to be a mistake: A spokesperson for the Bureau told the Newark Star Ledger that the label approvals "have been surrendered." Read more...
