TLP leader wants interior minister booked for death of activists
CHARSADDA: Tehreek-i-Labbaik Pakistan (TLP) provincial president Dr Muhammad Shafiq Amini said that first information report (FIR) of the activists killed and injured in the Faizabad protest would be got registered against the federal interior minister.
Talking to reporters here on Wednesday, he said the agreement to end the sit-in was signed by the TLP protestors after the assurance received from the army chief. He warned of staging another protest in Islamabad if the inquiry was not completed within the specified time. Dr Muhammad Shafiq Amini, who had contested and lost the by-election in the National Assembly constituency, NA-4 Peshawar as the candidate backed by the TLP, said that the 34-member Parliamentary Board that proposed the amendment in the clause concerning the finality of the prophethood had neither apologised nor admitted its mistake.
