Despite the apex court ban on instant triple talaq, a man from Hyderabad gave triple talaq to his wife over phone within 25 days of marriage. The woman claimed that she was in a relationship with the man from last 11 years. In August, the Supreme Court had banned the controversial Islamic practice of triple talaq through which a husband can divorce his wife by simply saying talaq thrice. Police said that they are investigating matter and will soon arrest the husband who is absconding.
