In a major jolt to ruling BJP party in Gujarat, the Election Commission has barred BJPâ??s â??Pappuâ?? advertisement camping. Addressing media, CEO Gujarat said that after scrutiny he found that the word "Pappu" used in context of the advertisement was "derogatory." B B Swain also added that, "The communication of the ECI with the concerned party over an election issue comes under the 'privileged category' and need not be disclosed to the public. I do not wish to comment on the issue."
