افتراضي Vanity Fair's Angelina Jolie 'scoop' **t so jolly

Vanity Fair's Angelina Jolie 'scoop'Vogue inadvertently scooped their Conde Nast sister company Vanity Fair?s bombshell Angelina Jolie interview ? and they?re trying to leave Bravo holding the bag, according to reliable sources. On Wednesday morning, we're told that Vogue published a piece online titled, ?In a Bombshell Vanity Fair Interview, Angelina Jolie Opens Up About Life After Brad,? which they apparently posted shortly after 8 a.m. In it, the actress is quoted describing her life post-divorce. The piece did **t at the time link to Vanity Fair or include that magazine?s cover image. Like internet magic, the next day, the story's timestamp, penned by Michelle Ruiz, appeared to have been changed to 12:52 p.m. Thursday and suddenly included Vanity Fair's cover image of Angelina, and linking to their sister mag's big ?get.? But before Conde Nast could get their act together Bravo.com's Personal Space and relationships editor Marianne Garvey, a former Daily News gossip columnist, received an email from a helpful colleague alerting her that the Vanity Fair interview with Jolie had been made public by Vogue and shared it with her readers under a headline titled, ?Angelina Jolie On Divorce: "It's Very Important To Cry In The Shower.? Bravo posted that story at 11:23 a.m. on Wednesday, with a link to Vanity Fair's home page, where the Jolie story had **t yet been posted. Then on Thursday, Conde Nast reps proceeded to tell fellow jour**s that ?Bravo broke the embargo,? and that they are shocked such a thing could happen. When contacted for comment, Garvey told us she would have loved the scoop, it was a simple pickup from Vogue, which included a link to VF. And suddenly, on Thursday Vogue's timestamp was changed to reflect that it was published after Garvey's story. It appears either someone was prepping a story for Thursday and hit send too soon and unpublished it until they got the cover photo and an approval time, or someone at Conde Nast is blaming Bravo ? and Garvey ? for their mess. Garvey also tells us that TV outlets have contacted her about "breaking an embargo." When asked why they thought she was the one who didn't respect the embargo, she says she was told VF and Vogue had been handing out this information. ?Listen, I would never break an embargo,? Garvey said. ?I wish I could say it was a scoop, but it was on Vogue first, I picked it up, and I credited where credit was due. Always do. Vanity Fair should talk to Vogue and vice versa. Also, thank you to Conde Nast for bringing Personal Space into such respected media circles, check it out, it's a good read!? When reached for comment, Conde Nast denied the Vogue story had posted and asked for more time to look into it. We will update if more information becomes available. With Brian Niemietz
