The Vampire Diaries is officially over, but we don't have to say goodbye to our favorite characters just yet. Even though the finale revealed three big character deaths, it did leave the door open for a potential crossover with its spi**ff ******, The Originals. After Stefan's tragic death, Caroline and Alaric decide to open a Salvatore boarding school for supernatural children like her own. And guess who just happens to make a very generous $3 million donation? Why, **ne other than her former love, Klaus. Even though it isn't exactly the Klaroline reunion we were hoping for, Alaric's voiceover does state that it's "the beginning of a**ther story." So, should we expect a Klaroline Reunion sometime soon?
Maybe. Matthew Davis, who plays Alaric, is already set to make an appearance on The Originals this coming season, and Entertainment Weekly just confirmed that Candice King, who plays Caroline, will also be reprising her TVD role in the season five premiere. Seeing that season four ended with Klaus's daughter Hope attending the supernatural boarding school, we can't help but get a little excited that the former star-crossed lovers will come face to face again. But the question is, can they find a way to make their relationship work? Klaus did say "however long it takes," so we're pretty hopeful.
