PESHAWAR: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) former provincial president Rahimdad Khan on Tuesday urged Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to resign in the wake of the report of the Joint Investigation Team (JIT) that probed the Panama Papers leaks.
Talking to reporters here, he alleged that the entire Sharif family was involved in corruption and the prime minister had ** right to remain in power.The PPP leader believed the JIT report had proved the corruption of the PML-N leaders and their family members. He alleged the rulers tried to pressurise the judiciary and members of the JIT. The PPP leader observed that the PTI) leaders also deceived the nation in the name of change. He hoped the people would reject both the PML-N and PTI in the upcoming general election. Rahimdad said the people were looking to the PPP to pull the country out of the crises.
