18,000 Canadian hockey fans joined together to belt out the U.S. national anthem this weekend as the Edmonton Oilers faced the Anaheim Ducks in the second-round playoff game when the singer's microphone failed.
Canadian country singer Brett Kissel was expected to sing the anthem at Rogers Place that night. Although his voice was coming through fine on TV, hockey fans present at the game couldn't hear a thing.
