The Legend of Zelda: Breath of Wild is a really big game. To prove it, Imgur user Dystify took the game's overworld map and compared it to some other famous game worlds.

The above GIF starts with Breath of the Wild's starting zone, the roughly 0.2-square-mile Great Plateau, and then plops Zelda: Ocarina of Time's map right on top. Although Ocarina of Time's width and height dimensions are slightly higher than the Great Plateau's, there's a whole lot of unused space in that square, effectively making the first 3D Zelda smaller than the latest game's starting zone.
