Former education minister Hamida Khuhro passes away
 KARACHI: Prominent historian and educationist Dr Hamida Khuhro passed away Sunday after a protracted illness.Daughter of Former chief minister Sindh, Muhammad Ayub Khoro, she was k**wn as the authority on history, and has also served twice as the Sindh education minister. A PhD in South Asian History from the University of London, she taught at the Oxford University for some time and then joined Sindh University. A prolific writer, Hameeda penned several books on history.
