LAHORE: The Indian army has made it clear to Modi that war is **t an option to settle affairs with Pakistan forever and both the countries will have to negotiate for peaceful resolution through dialogue, claimed former foreign minister Khurshid Mahmood Kasuri.
“India can**t deprive Pakistan of water flowing to Pakistan by the next 25 years, as and when India is able to build dams on the run-of-river,” said Kasuri during discussion on “Future of Indo-Pak Relations with Special Reference to Pakistan’s Foreign Policy” at TECH Society Club. Former Minister of State Qayyum Nizami, Manzoor Ahmed Sheikh, Dr Muhammad Sadiq, Jameel Gishkori and Zubair Sheikh also spoke on the occasion. Kasuri said “use of tactical nuclear ******* and advanced tech**logy are the best defence against any aggression for us in future”.“Pakistan should ensure good governance and strengthen its eco**my besides focusing on soft power option because we are lacking in these fields as compared to India which is of course bigger in size. Pakistan needs to present its point of view worldwide in a befitting manner with regard to the Kashmir issue,” he added. Kasuri said India clearly realised that that Pakistan was a nuclear power and they would have to settle their affairs with Pakistan amicably.Answering a question, he said Pakistan was trying to have better relations with Afghanistan through better border management “as we can’t afford to leave it in the hands of Indians”Kasuri also **ted that “foreign affairs are handled with patience, **t in a hurry.” In his speech, Nizami said unfortunately, India was overambitious in handling the neighbouring countries in South Asia. Had Pakistan **t been a nuclear state, India must have attacked it again after 1971, he added. أكثر... ??????? ??????: War **t an option for Indian Army, says Kasuri || ??????: ahlam1399 || ??????: اسم منتداك
